Christmas (Xmas) Traditions: Boxing Day
Boxing Day is celebrated on December 26 in Australia, Canada and England. Traditionally on this day Christmas boxes of money were given to servants, trades people and public servants. This tradition probably was the basis for the giving of Christmas bonuses by employers.
