Christmas Traditions:
Brownie Recipe
Be sure to ice these brownies with the chocolate chip icing. The icing makes the brownies “incredible”.
Brownies
1 Stick of margarine
1 Cup sugar
1 Can chocolate syrup
4 Eggs
1 Cup flour
1 Cup chopped nuts
Cream together margarine and sugar until fluffy. Beat in syrup and eggs. Add flour. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 15x10 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350º. Cool.
Chocolate Chip Icing
1 Stick of margarine
1½ Cup sugar
? Cup canned milk
½ Cup chocolate chips
Mix margarine, sugar and milk. Bring to full boil and boil one (1) minute. Take off heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted. Frost brownies at once. (Icing hardens almost at once.)
