Saint Patricks Day Traditions: Wearing of the Green
The wearing of the green has become a Saint Patrick’s Day tradition. The color green is associated with Saint Patrick and shamrocks are green. Because of the rainfall it receives, Ireland itself is very green. All people with ties to Ireland take pride in the wearing of the green on Saint Patrick’s Day.
